Hull City are set to sign Sam Clucas from Chesterfield on a £1.3million deal.
While all the talk surrounding Hull this summer has been regarding potential departures, the Tigers need to sign a couple of new players as well in order to beef up their squad.
As a result, manager Steve Bruce has been scouring the market to bring in new players and it can now be revealed that the Tigers are set to complete the signing of 24-year-old Spireites midfielder Clucas.
Speaking to the Hull Daily Mail, Bruce said: "Sam is hopefully also a done deal. He's flying to us and he's having his medical here. Hopefully we'll have him signed over the next 48 hours."
Clucas is expected to slot into the vacancy left by Robbie Brady who is set to join Norwich City.
