Chelsea's Terry suffers toe injury

Chelsea captain John Terry has broken a toe in his right foot.

A scan revealed that the Chelsea skipper, who missed three months of last season with a back injury, fractured the toe during Tuesday night's 1-0 win against Suwon Bluewings.

Terry played the first 45 minutes against the Koreans at the Home Depot Center in Carson. The injury will concern England coach Steve McClaren, whose side face Germany at Wembley on August 22, However, Chelsea's medical staff are not unduly worried and manager Mourinho has told the defender to take all the time he needs to make a full recovery.
