Chelsea skipper John Terry is expected to retain the England captaincy for their looming friendlies.
The London Evening Standard says Terry is expected to captain England in next month's friendlies against Spain and Sweden even if the investigation into his alleged racist slur against Anton Ferdinand has not been concluded.
The Football Association have not put a timeframe on the investigation, raising the possibility of the defender leading out his country at Wembley on November 12 and 15 with the race row hanging over him.
