England captain John Terry has admitted he is postponing a minor operation in order to lead his country out in Russia on Wednesday.
"I'm fully fit and ready to play," the Chelsea player enthused.
"The physio looked at me and there as a bit of bone come away in my knee, a bit of cartilage that was floating about, which then got caught underneath my knee and flared up.
"It swelled right up for a couple of days but with the massage and treatment I've had over the last few days, it's managed to dislodge itself.
"I will have to have an op in the near future but it's a case of when and finding the right time, just to remove that bit of floating bone.
"Luckily it's just a case of going in, removing it and I'll be back playing in two or three days."
