Chelsea's Samsung deal still pales in comparison with Man Utd

Chelsea's deal with Samsung leaves the club trailing badly behind Manchester United in the shirt sponsorship stakes.

The London Evening Standard says the deal is said to be worth around £18million a year to the European champions.

Earlier this summer, Premier League rivals Manchester United announced a deal with General Motors which will see its Chevrolet brand become the club's shirt sponsor in 2014 in what is said to be worth some £50million a season.
