Chelsea striker Ben Sahar is determined to win a regular first team place at Portsmouth.

He said: "The lads are great and I am happy here. It's good. Obviously I want to play every game but we have good strikers which makes it difficult because I want to show people I can play and score a few goals.

"There's great competition among the strikers but there is always going to be competition in football and I'm happy to have the opportunity to fight for a place with such good players.

"It is not something I fear. It is something I enjoy and I want to do all I can to get into the side every match and score goals."
