Chelsea winger Florent Malouda says Frank Lampard is primed for their Champions League clash with Liverpool.
"He is always focused on the goal, he is always running," the Frenchman told chelseafc.com of his English colleague, "and when the ball hits the crossbar, you never know where it is going to go and he is there. He scores another important goal for us like when we played against Liverpool last May in the semi final. When Frank is like this, full of confidence, free to play, he can make the difference.
"The next game won't just be a battle of Frank Lampard against Steven Gerrard but both teams are really close and with those world-class players they can make the difference," Malouda adds, pointing out that others have to perform well for Lampard to express himself.
"He has to feel free, he has to play with all his confidence and when he is like this I think he is one of the best midfielders but like a striker too. He is running like a midfielder but with the mentality of the striker. He is never happy if he doesn't score."
