Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has told Liverpool fans to stick with Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson.

Lamps knows the pair from the England setup.

He told the Sunday Mirror: "I know how good Stewart and Jordan are as well. Liverpool spent a lot of money on the three of them.

"Although they have been given stick by some ­people, these are good players.

"I know. I have trained with them."
