Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard says England boss Fabio Capello was not down on his players after defeat to Ukraine.
It was the first time Capello has tasted defeat with England in competitive action, but Lampard told TalkSport: "It was very positive actually and the manager was very positive and he didn't want us to speak for five minutes and just to rest, have a little think and then he came and he said a few small tactical details and said if we do these we can go and at least draw the game and maybe win the game.
"There was no negativity at all and the same after the game. He was very pleased with the second half reaction, certain parts of the game considering we were a man down there was nothing negative at all. On the touchline at certain moments he's going to become stressed out, frustrated with certain things, it's a manager's life. In the dressing room he was very, very positive."
