Chelsea's Lampard: I've learned to cope with criticism better

Chelsea hero Frank Lampard says he's learned to cope with criticism.

Lampard is out of this summer's Euros for England due to injury.

He told Absolute Radio: "I probably found it harder in my younger days at certain times. The World Cup in 2006, I took a lot of stick because I went in scoring freely and come out and didn't score, and I had shots and tried my hardest but didn't score.

"You know what, it affected me more then. I think you get a bit older, and I'm sure you had it as a player as well, the occasional one gets on your nerves but you become more level headed. You know what you've done, you know you work hard, you know where you want to go and what you've done, and you don't listen to all the nonsense."
