Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard had a say in Portsmouth's deal for Arsenal midfielder Lassana Diarra.

Pompey boss Harry Redknapp said: "I spoke to Frank Lampard and he said he hated playing against him in training.

"We look strong in midfield now once we get the Africans back."
