Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard says players will have to adjust their game if Premiership clubs are drawn together in today's Champions League quarterfinals lottery.
Lampard also said that English clubs have to play less physically than normal when meeting in European competition. "I have played in three such knockouts and there is a difference in the rivalry, and maybe you have to gear it down a little from a typical league game as you know it will be refereed in a certain way," he said. "The last thing you want is to lose players [because of suspension[ in those games."
