Didier Drogba has promised to do everything within his power to bring Africa Cup of Nations glory to the Ivory Coast in 2010.
Gerard Gili's side exited this year's competition in Ghana after a 4-1 semi-final defeat to Egypt.
The Ivory Coast last lifted the trophy in 2002, and Chelsea striker Drogba admits he is already thinking about 2010's tournament in Angola.
"Straight after the game I was already thinking about 2010 because, until I play my last game, I will do everything in my power to bring the Cup to Ivory Coast," the 29-year-old explained.
"Maybe I won't win it, but I will give it my best shot.
"Even if I don't win, I think we are building something which is strong. I hope the federation and everybody in Ivory Coast will keep up the standard we've reached."
