Chelsea's Drogba pleads guilty

An FA charge of violent conduct for throwing a coin at Burnley supporters during a Carling Cup tie last week has been admitted by Chelsea's Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba. His case will be heard by the governing body on Tuesday.

An FA statement read: "Chelsea forward Didier Drogba has admitted a charge of violent conduct.

"Drogba is alleged to have thrown a missile into the away section of the crowd after scoring during the Carling Cup match against Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday 12 November.

"A Regulatory Commission will hear the case tomorrow based on video evidence and written submissions."
