Chelsea goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini is surprised by John Arne Riise's struggles at Roma.

"I am very surprised that he's begun the season so disappointingly," said Cudicini. "Here in the Premiership he demonstrated his value by scoring many goals for Liverpool.

"I am sure that with Roma he will return to his best soon."
