Joe Cole has revealed how Avram Grant steamed into Chelsea's stars at halftime of Saturday's victory over West Ham.

"The manager told us at half-time we weren't good enough, we weren't sharp enough," said Cole. "We were shouted at but came through in the end, which is the sign of a good team.

"These are the sort of games you look back on at the end of the season and say 'we didn't play well but got the points.' If we're going to go on and win things we've got to win these games. We're happy with where we are at the moment and will just keep rolling on."
