Chelsea's Cole enjoys reserves outing against Arsenal

Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole stepped up his comeback last night in Chelsea's 2-0 defeat by Arsenal in a reserve-team match at Underhill, Barnet.

Cole, who played 90 minutes, made his return to first-team action two weeks ago in the Carling Cup against Queens Park Rangers, after eight months out because of reconstructive knee surgery.

The midfielder should be up-to-speed after the international break.
