Chelsea midfielder Billy Clifford is happy to have extended his loan at Colchester United.
The 20-year-old has started all five games since his arrival, winning three of them to help end a nine-game losing run for the U's.
"Physically, I feel better than I have been before and I can't wait to attack the rest of the games in front of us," he told the club website.
"When I first came, I was surprised to see the position we were in."
He added: "But the gaffer brought in myself, Sam Walker and David Wright, and we've begun to turn things around and things are looking encouraging for the rest of the season."
