Petr Cech admits he initially thought John Terry's missed spotkick had won Chelsea the Champions League.

"When I saw the goalkeeper going the other way, from my position I thought I saw the ball going in," Cech said. "Then it was out but these can happen. It showed the story of the game really.

"We hit the post twice and in the last moment, when the goalkeeper dived the opposite way, John Terry slipped. It would have been in if he hadn't."
