Chelsea's Cech happy with comeback game

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech was pleased with his comeback game in Tuesday night's 0-0 draw against Valencia.

"I feel fine, pleased to be back and with the clean sheet," he told Chelsea's website. "It's been a long time, and twice I've been really close to playing again but in the end no one wanted to take the risk so it was great for me to finally reach the point where I was fit."

He was forced into one smart near post save from Valencia's David Villa, but apart from that, most of the action was at the other end.

"Valencia is a good side, with plenty of top players, but today we were superior to them in every aspect,' Cech insisted.

"We played some great football, with passing and movement, and were solid at the back, so we were really better than them today."
