Chelsea defender Gary Cahill is ready to step in for the missing John Terry as England prepare to face Ukraine.

Frank Lampard has backed Cahill to fill the void.

"Gary has grown completely. I have nothing but massive things to say for Gary," he said.

"To come to Chelsea after the season we had last year, fit in and play the games he did against Barcelona and then the (Champions League) final he has proven he is a top centre half in world football. Internationally he can go on and play for a long time."
