Chelsea fullback Jose Bosingwa is happy to see Cristiano Ronaldo leave Manchester United for Real Madrid.

Portugal right-back Bosingwa, 26, said: "Cristiano has been very important for United and he scored a lot of goals for them.

"Life is going to become complicated for them from now on. The fact he is going means one less headache for me next season.

"Cristiano is exceptional, and the Premier League is going to be losing a great player. His departure will be a big loss for English football."
