Chelsea fullback Ryan Bertrand hopes to extend his stay on-loan at Oldham Athletic.

Bertrand said, "My time with Oldham has been brilliant and they have given me the chance to play regular first-team football which is what I was looking for when I came. If the opportunity comes about to stay, I would be happy to do so, though that is out of my hands as I don't know what both clubs want to do."
