Juve have already made contact with Chelsea about taking Ballack on-loan in January, while Corriere dello Sport says Inter have now joined the race and are prepared to offer £8 million for the Germany international.

Juve striker Vincenzo Iaquinta, meanwhile, has urged Ballack to join him in Turin: "He's a great player and would be very welcome here. But it's up to the club to decide if they want to sign him."
