Chelsea's Anelka wants to continue Arsenal scoring run

Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka hopes to continue his scoring record against Arsenal today.

Anelka arrived at Highbury as a 17-year-old in early 1997, but since leaving in 1999, has scored six times in eight Premier League appearances against Arsene Wenger's men.

"There is no secret, I am just lucky to score against them," he told chelseafc.com. "That is it, I'm not thinking when I play against them I have to score. If we have a chance to win it is good, and even better if I score."

Anelka is looking forward to a potential clash with Arsenal captain William Gallas.

"I know him very well because I have played with him in the national team, and I have known him since we were kids because we were together in the Clarefontaine football school," Anelka explained.

"He is a good defender and if I play it is going to be a big challenge."
