Chelsea ace Nicolas Anelka has called French fans to be more like their English equivalent.
"They (the French public) can be difficult. It's a shame because we really need the fans," he told L'Equipe.
"We know it also depends on the media, and it's true the attitude changes when we score two or three goals.
"In England the mentality is completely different. There are so many clubs with supporters, including clubs in the third tier.
"In France, people support PSG, OM, Lyon...you won't find fans of Paris FC. That's the difference.
"But hey, if they boo us at half-time on Saturday, it doesn't mean anything, only that we have to score one more goal."
