Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka heads the Premier League scoring charts, but insists it's were the team finishes at the end of the season which is more important. He told Les Dessous du Sport: "I scored my 13th goal of the Premier League season last weekend, a header against my old club Bolton.

"We are in December and I'm still at the top of the goalscorers' table. To answer one of your questions, I would say that claiming the award at the end of the season is not one of my objectives.

"This is not in my thoughts. I want to play well in the league and I'm doing it, which is the most important thing."
