Brazil international defender Alex wants a move to Real Madrid.

Alex is joining parent club Chelsea after the Copa America following three seasons on-loan at PSV Eindhoven.

However, AS says Real sports director Pedja Mijatovic has held talks with the defender's agent, Giuliano Bertolucci, and knows he would jump at the chance to play for the new Spanish champs.

Mijatovic is turning to Alex as they prepare to sell veteran Fabio Cannavaro this summer.
