Chelsea forward Islam Feruz has joined Scottish outfit Hibernian on a season-long loan deal.

The Scotland Under 21 captain told Hibs' official website he was delighted to be back in his home country and to once again have the opportunity to get regular first team action.

"I am excited to be coming back to Scotland and get some first-team football under my belt," Feruz said.

"Hibs have a good young team and I've played with a number of the boys before with the national team.

"The manager has shown faith in me and I look forward to repaying it by giving 100 per cent when I'm selected."
