Alex Davey was delighted to have penned a loan extension with Peterborough United.

The 20-year-old Chelsea defender was set to remain with the Posh for just another week but will now stay at London Road until January 2.

Davey, who has impressed early in his time with the League One club, admitted his delight at extending with the Cambridgeshire outfit.
