Chelsea would love to be in Champions League final - Azpilicueta

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has indicated that it will be tough to watch this year's UEFA Champions League final.

Barcelona will take on Juventus in Berlin on Saturday night but Blues star Azpilicueta insists he and his teammates would love to be there rather than on an end-of-season tour in Australia.

"Our target is always to win the trophy, but this year we could not do that," the Spaniard said.

"We would like to be there in the Final but unfortunately we are not, so we will just have to try harder next season.

"It is even harder to think about because we did not lose a game in the Champions League this season.

"It does not help things, but those are the rules and the way it happened."

Premier League champions Chelsea were knocked out of the Champions League at the Round of 16 stage on away goals by Paris Saint-Germain after a 3-3 aggregate draw.
