Chelsea won't drop £14M asking price for Inter Milan targets Deco, Carvalho

Chelsea are refusing to drop their demands over Portuguese pair Ricardo Carvalho and Deco.

The Times says Chelsea's negotiations with Inter Milan over the sales of Carvalho and Deco have broken down after the Italian club failed to match the asking price.

Chelsea want £14 million for the Portugal players, who have three years and one year remaining on their respective contracts, but Inter insist that they are unwilling to pay such a sum.

if those players are to be sold to chelsea, they will be aking for more than 14
Chelsea should learn not buy players at an expensive rate then run at loss we
they are to be sold. As for Deco, pls sell him... we don't mind the loss

both players are getting older, and carvalho was sidelined more than he played last season. 14m is abit excessive, maybe it was because the amount they paid for deco last season. hopefully, they'll learn their lesson on paying for older players.

inter should consider that chelsea is selling at a lost, and those boys can still make an impact in the team.
