Chelsea won't accept defeat in their pursuit of Tottenham ace Luka Modric. The Telegraph says Blues owner Roman Abramovich is pushing on with his rebuilding plans this summer.
It remains highly likely that Chelsea will inquire once more about Tottenham's Modric, having eventually failed with a bid that rose to £40m for the midfielder last summer.
Only last week, it emerged Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson would also be moving for the Croat, with Modric understood to now favour the Old Trafford option if he is to leave Spurs.
