Chelsea winger Willian defends Qarabag penalty

Willian scored a brace on Wednesday to help Chelsea secure a convincing 4-0 win over Qarabag in the Champions League.

The Brazilian was involved in a moment of controversy during the second half after Chelsea were awarded a second penalty when he was pulled back by Qarabag defender Gara Garayav in the box.

Willian was asked about the decision on BT Sport's post-match coverage.

He responded saying: "A little bit of contact.

"For me it was a penalty - I don't think for you guys it is, but for me it was a penalty."

The 29-year-old also sent a message to his team-mates ahead of Saturday's Premier League game against Liverpool.

"We need all the players to be ready for all games," said Willian.

"We have to rest and try to win more games."
