Wigan Athletic winger Scott Sinclair was delighted with his first start in the FA Cup win over Hull City.
Sinclair is on-loan at the DW from Chelsea and impressed in the Cup triumph.
"It was my first full game in a while and I was eager, fresh and feeling sharp," Sinclair told the Wigan Evening Post.
"It obviously gets frustrating when you're not playing. There are always people fighting for places in the team in training.
"Everyone works as hard as they can, but that's football - you have a big squad with plenty of competition and, at the end of the day, the gaffer can only pick 11 players.
"Basically I was ready to play and ready to be put into the action.
"Personally I was very pleased to get my goal and, from a team point of view, it's great to be in the next round."
