West Ham United are set to make a shock bid for Mohamed Salah according to reports.

The Daily Mirror suggests that the Hammers are poised to launch a summer swoop for the Chelsea winger who spent the second half of last season on loan with Fiorentina.

It is believed that West Ham want a season-long loan with an option to buy the 23-year old Egypt international who is valued at around £17.5million by the Blues.

Inter Milan are also keen on Salah who is wanted back by Fiorentina after scoring nine goals in 26 appearances for them last term.
