Chelsea winger Pedro excited to work with Spain boss Lopetegui

Chelsea attacker Pedro Rodriguez says he is looking forward to working with Spain national team manager Julen Lopetegui.

Due to his impressive form for Chelsea this season, Pedro has been recalled into the Spain squad for the World Cup qualifier against Israel and friendly with France and the 29-year-old will now be linking up with Lopetegui for the first time.

Pedro is looking forward to working with his new manager at the national setup and expressed his delight at being recalled into the La Furia Rosa setup by Lopetegui.

The Chelsea star said: "It's a new chance for me, a new challenge. We are looking at how he wants to play, his ideas. He's another coach to add to the list in my career.

"I'm pleased to meet with team-mates and experiencing a good moment with my club. I am happy to be here. We all come to join the team with the coach's requests.

"I work at 100 per cent and try to compete at the top level. I have to make the most of the chances I'm given. I'm happy to be back and to train with the squad."
