Newcastle United are pushing to complete the signing of Chelsea winger Kenedy today.

The Evening Chronicle says the Toon are hoping to announce the loan arrival of Kenedy from Chelsea today.

The left-sided Brazilian winger arrived on Tyneside last night to complete his medical and the formalities of his second temporary switch to United this year.

Talks had reopened to sign the 22-year-old when Newcastle were quoted a £30million fee.

Since then a straight loan deal has been agreed with a facility fee to be paid to the Blues for his services.
