Chelsea are determined to prise Kalidou Koulibaly away from Napoli.

And even if a deal cannot be closed this month, Chelsea will try again in January, says Mediaset's transfer expert, Niccolo Ceccarini.

He told TMW Radio: "The onslaught from Chelsea will come. I do not know if it will be before this session of the transfer market. The Blues want one of Koulibaly or (Roma defender Kostas) Manolas, if they do not come this year, they may be an arrival for next year.

"The idea of Napoli will be one to retain Koulibaly.'
