Chelsea willing to take cash hit to sell Alvaro Morata to Juventus

Chelsea are ready to take a hit to sell Alvaro Morata to Juventus this summer.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Juve will seek to do business for around €60m - with Chelsea having spent €70m on Morata last August to sign him from Real Madrid.

He was brought in as a replacement for star striker Diego Costa.

But his tally of 15 goals from his first season has not gone down well at Stamford Bridge.

And reports in Italy claim officials in west London are already planning to sell the Spaniard. Juve are hoping to push the fee down even further - by first landing Morata on loan and then agreeing a permanent fee of €50m to be paid to Chelsea in instalments.
