Chelsea are launching a cash offer for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.
The Daily Mail says Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's pending arrival means Arsenal will allow Giroud to move to Chelsea should their London neighbours meet the 31-year-old's £35m valuation.
Chelsea discussed Giroud over the weekend as they are struggling to strike agreement with Roma for Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri.
While Arsenal's price is high, Giroud has the added bonus of being available for the Champions League and is already settled in London.
