Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will make money no object as he goes for Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao. The Daily Mail says the West London club will offer the 26-year-old a deal worth in the region of £200,000-per-week, to lure Falcao.
The pay package would eclipse the club's current top earner Fernando Torres, who is understood to earn £175,000-per-week.
The staggering salary underlines how serious the current Champions League holders are about signing Falcao, who is viewed as the hottest property in world football.
