Premier League giants Chelsea are planning to scout Ben Gibson during Middlesbrough's encounter against Arsenal this weekend, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is currently believed to be in the market to sign a new central defender and Boro youngster Gibson has widely been mentioned as one of the targets for the Italian.

Now according to reports, it has been claimed that the Blues are planning to run the rule over the 23-year-old by sending scouts to the Emirates Stadium when Middlesbrough square off against an in-form Arsenal side on Saturday.
