Chelsea are ready to pay £60m for Juventus fullback Alex Sandro.

The Telegraph says the Blues are short of options and got the defence of their Premier League title off to a nightmare start yesterday when Burnley claimed a shock 3-2 win at Stamford Bridge.

Sandro is wanted from Juve to provide competition for Marcos Alonso on the left flank.

Chelsea have expressed a willingness to pay £60m to get him on board.

Danny Rose, of Tottenham, is also on their radar and it's claimed they will swoop for the England international if Tottenham make it clear they're ready to sell.
