Chelsea weighing up bid for Real Madrid striker Benzema
Chelsea are being linked with Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti has expressed interest in several strikers in recent weeks as he plans to find a long-term successor for Didier Drogba.
Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini and Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero have both been linked with Chelsea.
Cadena SER says Chelsea are also eyeing Benzema for an end-of-season move to London.
Interestingly, Benzema's France teammate Nicolas Anelka talked up the youngster only this week.

I'd prefer Higuain, but Benzema would do nicely at Chelsea. Maybe Ancelotti can pull a fast one and say that there's no snow so he can't keep his promise. I think the Frenchman would be a good signing for The Blues. He's got pace and great feet. I think Kalou will/would be sold if Karim joined them though. Anyway, I hope this is true.
any one who says get rid of joe cole is a idiot who knows nothing about football the bloke is top class and english, benzema class act in the right team Real wouldn't sell him yet maybe next summer
get rid/sales off some of Chelsea players (Joe Cole, Paulo Ferreira, Belleti, Ballack, Alex, Deco) before they become ageing and no value, and try to bring in some young potential which wouldn't cost so much.
