Real Madrid have kicked off talks with Chelsea over a deal for Thibaut Courtois.

The Mirror says Zinedine Zidane's side have made Chelsea's shotstopper their No.1 target for the summer transfer window, setting aside £26m to bring in the big Belgian.

But Chelsea aren't keen to let him leave unless they can bring in attacker Alvaro Morata on a swap deal.

Real haven't yet been willing to sanction such a swap.

However, Morata is understood to be frustrated over his limited role this season and may push Real to agree to such a deal.
