Chelsea want Krasic to push Sturridge into striker spot
Chelsea are pushing to sign Juventus outcast Milos Krasic.
The Telegraph says Chelsea are attempting to sign Krasic in the January transfer window as a replacement for Nicolas Anelka.
Talks are ongoing between the two clubs and it is understood that Chelsea have urged defender Branislav Ivanovic to ask his fellow Serb to push for a move to Stamford Bridge.
Krasic has been identified by manager Andre Villas-Boas as a key signing. Krasic usually plays as a right-winger, which would free Daniel Sturridge to move into the centre once Didier Drogba goes to the Africa Cup of Nations.

I agree with Stephen to the extent that Sturridge is selfish, but surely he's not average. Krasic will make a great difference if he keeps his form on arrival. It will spark off great competition between Sturridge and Torres, even at training, and will bring the best out of them. That's when Drogba's future will become clear.
