The brother and agent of Ronaldinho, Roberto de Assis, was unimpressed by Barcelona's official statement this week regarding the Brazilian star.

Catalunya Radio reports that both Assis and Ronaldinho were disappointed with the club statement as it did not defend the player nor denied the reports that were published in the local press last week.

According to the report, Assis is also surprised that no director nor member of the coaching staff has been in contact about the situation.

Ronaldinho remains Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's big target for the January market.
