Chelsea veteran Frank Lampard felt for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard after victory at Anfield.
Demba Ba's goal came after a slip from Gerrard, who has been instrumental in Liverpool's climb to the top of the table.
Lampard had sympathy for his England team-mate, saying: "Of course. It can happen to any player. Whether Liverpool go on to win the league or not, this doesn't take anything off the player he is and has been. He's been driving them all season. It's not a nice moment."
