Chelsea U18 thump Swansea 5-0

Chelsea U18 thumped Swansea City 5-0 on Saturday.

The Blues toiled for the first 45 minutes but came out firing after the break with four goals in 23 minutes to secure a second home victory of the season.

Chelsea created the better chances in the first half but went in goalless at the interval. Whatever manager Jody Morris said in the changing room worked a treat as his players returned to the field in a ruthless mood.

A brace from Martell Taylor-Crossdale, the first from the penalty spot, alongside goals from Harvey St Clair, Luke McCormick and Charlie Brown did the damage as our youngsters continued an unbeaten home record that stretches 19 games across three separate seasons.
